Do I need a Make-up trial?

A bridal booking does require a trial. This is to ensure mainly that you are able to discuss any of your ideas or concerns, and that you are happy with your bridal look.

Any ideas you have can be discussed at the trial, and any concerns or ideas you have after the trial can be discussed with Andrea over the phone any time, or alternatively, an additional trial can be booked.

What happens on the day of the trial?

Andrea will arrive on your specified date, the time you have arranged, and at your preferred venue.

Please ensure that your make-up trial can take place in a room where there is natural light. You can collect photos of looks that you especially like and discuss them with Andrea before application. Andrea will then make notes of the make-up that is used and digital photographs will be taken of your final look.

Does Andrea do hair as well?

As of May 2009 Andrea will be able to include Bridal/Special occasion hairstyles within your package.

What Make-up does Andrea use?

Andrea uses only the best in the business, her kit contains make-up from Mac, Bobbi Brown, Dior, Chanel, Estee Lauder and much more.

How do I book the dates required after my trial has been completed?

From the moment you speak to Andrea, she will provisionally book your wedding/special occasion date out in her diary. Andrea works on a, one party per day policy, so you won't have the worry that she will be rushing off elsewhere, Andrea ensures that her full attention is on you on your special day, making you feel at ease and at your most beautiful.

After your trial has taken place you have up to a week to return your booking form along with a 50% deposit which is non-refundable, Andrea will then alter your provisional booking to a secured booking. Andrea will send you an acknowledgement letter to confirm that your booking form has been received. Your final payment can be up to 2 weeks prior to your special day or on the actual day.

What is the procedure on the day?

Andrea will arrive at the time arranged and at your preferred venue. Please make sure you are in a room where there is natural light and also room for Andrea's Make-up, (as she has a lot). Please make sure that your hair has been done before Andrea arrives, as hairspray etc can affect the make-up. The most important tip for keeping hair and make-up in place on the day is to wear a top that does not need to be pulled over your head, as this can put your hair out of place and smudge your make-up.

Will my Make-up last all day or will I need to retouch it?

Andrea uses only the best products in the industry, which are designed to be long lasting and durable. Obviously, you will need to retouch your lipgloss/lipstick. Andrea will be able to inform you of the lip product she uses at the trial, so if preferred, you can purchase it for retouch throughout the day.

Alternatively Andrea can be hired for the duration of your wedding day up until 7pm , which can be discussed at your trial if you do require this service.
